This Masterclass is designed as a 2-day course. Scanning will be in small groups, under close supervision. You will have access to our extensive online course resources. We use high-quality ultrasound systems to give you a great scanning experience.
Delegates scan in groups of 2 (one machine to 2 delegates) and one tutor to 4 delegates.

Day 1 focusses on developing the skills and knowledge required to carry out a diagnostic ultrasound of the foot and ankle. Day 2 is in the cadaveric lab, where delegates get the opportunity to practice ultrasound guided injections under close supervision. This day is designed for those new to ultrasound guided injections, or those looking to refine their skills and increase the injection repertoire.

However, if you wish, you can also book and attend one day only:

This unique, one-day comprehensive ultrasound guided injection course of the foot and ankle, has been specifically developed for podiatrists, physiotherapists and foot and ankle surgeons.

All ultrasound guided injections around the foot and ankle will be covered (the knee can be covered on request). See course ‘Timetable’ below for a full list of injections covered. We will teach you how to scan each region, and the easiest and most effective way of carrying out these USG injections.

The injections are carried out on soft-preserved full body cadavers, which is the closest match to the real thing! You have full access to the cadavers, and we have plenty machines. You will benefit from close supervision from our expert tutors, who have lots of top tips to ensure you get the most out of the course.

Please note this is not a competency based course.
