Rick is an experienced Advanced Practice Sonographer specialising in General Abdo, Gynaecology, Lumps and Bumps and Head and Neck Ultrasound. Throughout his clinical career he has worked in many NHS settings such as Kings College Hospital (London), Luton and Dunstable Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospitals, whilst also keeping on top of a portfolio of private work in various settings across the Yorkshire Area.

Rick has been involved in advising and the set up of clinical services, writing protocols, statement of works and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Alongside the clinical work Rick does, he also works for GE HealthCare specialising and managing Point of Care across the UK & Ireland. His role involves product development, ensuring machines are clinically optimal for increased diagnostic confidence and accurate interventional procedures. This role has given him a real insight into how machines work in the real world, and ensuring clinicians and practioners get the best image quality possible within their ultrasound practice.

Outside of his love for Ultrasound sits a love for music, you can find in in and around the pubs of Yorkshire of a weekend evening playing gigs and entertaining whoever will listen!
