Arve is a lecturer with the Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group (SMUG), known for his passion for teaching and clinical excellence in musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided interventions. He is dedicated to helping clinicians confidently integrate ultrasound-guided procedures—particularly spinal and peripheral joint injections—into their practice.
Examined as a Naprapath in Stockholm in 2015, Arve's background is rooted in advanced manual therapy & MSK Ultrasound with a strong emphasis on sports medicine, orthopaedic medicine, and evidence-based practice. Since then, he has worked in multidisciplinary health clinics in Oslo, including Apexklinikken and Myoklinikken, where he has combined diagnostics and treatment.
Since 2017, Arve has worked daily with MSK ultrasound and guided injections, collaborating closely with Dr Kvinge (specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation) as well as a wide range of healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, naprapaths, and psychologists.
Arve has taught extensively both nationally and internationally on musculoskeletal ultrasound and guided procedures. He is particularly passionate about teaching and is widely respected for his practical, clinician-focused approach to training. His teaching supports professionals from various backgrounds in developing the skills and confidence to incorporate ultrasound and ultrasound guided injections safely and effectively into their clinical toolkit.
