Podiatrist, MSK Sonographer
Robert McCririck is an experienced Podiatrist and MSK Sonographer with specialist expertise in foot and ankle ultrasound, sports podiatry and ultrasound-guided interventions. He has more than 10 years’ specialist experience across NHS and private practice in the UK and Canada and holds a CASE-accredited PGCert in Medical Ultrasound alongside an MSc in Podiatric Surgery.
A significant part of Robert’s work is dedicated to MSK ultrasound education. He is a Senior Lecturer in MSK Ultrasound with SMUG, teaching diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections of the foot and ankle. He has also previously lectured in Podiatry and Sports Medicine at Queen Margaret University.
Robert integrates ultrasound into the majority of his musculoskeletal consultations for both diagnosis and image-guided intervention. As Clinic Owner and Lead Podiatrist at Tweed Podiatry, he brings a highly practical teaching approach focused on lower-limb sonography, image interpretation and the clinical application of ultrasound in foot and ankle practice.
